Fee Applies Toward the Repair
If there are any immediate repairs being done to the appliance being diagnosed, the service fee will apply toward the repair cost—it is not added on top.
Only the Fee if Not Repaired
If the appliance is too costly for repair or is close to the cost of a new appliance, then only the service call fee is due.
Example
If the quote for repair is $100, the $95 service call fee is not charged on top of the $100. In the event where the appliance is too costly for repair or is close to the cost of a new appliance, then only the service call fee is due.
